headed on a journey.
...theory.
its the beginning of march and if in fact you've looked....then more than likely you've seen.
i try to post both what i am capable of producing as well as delve into the nature of why i've created what i'm capable of producing.
i suppose what may seem fair to you would be the explanation of what i may be pursuing while i'm away from the usual. ok, that seems fair to me as well, typically my consciousness drives after what i've constructed from the original argument of "Humility & Hypocrisy", not to be confused with the doomed argument of "Humility vs. Hypocrisy".
each branch of this sustained argument supports like a post the beam that stretches to enclose the space encompassing the knowledge and understanding of how to appropriately validate our personal experiences to help our priorities.
each of us sustains our own "space", an active object that we create, a structure to explain our existence and purpose.
inside this space we fill it with what makes you...you. typically, due to our generations lack of building block, we find our space is filled with "stuff". "Stuff" is a majority of what we've seen, heard, felt, tasted, or smell and enjoyed, that has been created by other people. "Stuff" causes us to make a larger space because we want to insert more of it. The issue is that in our mad rush to place more "stuff" inside our space that the volume is forced to expand without the appropriate member size being increased.
very much like our school system, we continue to procreate and send those cute little offshoots into a box with one person in front. we expect that person to take control of these little seedlings and help them to develop as a computer, intake knowledge without reason. as young students it's difficult to know any other way, and as adult brought up that way, we are similarly confused. these school boxes are filled to the brim and no one is giving to develop the boxes, make them larger and appropriate for the amount of "stuff" seedlings we are cramming in there. and the boxes fail, it isn't a physical fail that we can see, or hear, but rather a mental fail. because of it's ephemeral nature this problem won't be fix as we expect the world to only be changed when we experience a need for a change.
the schools are dead, they've been dead since i was a child. i'm sure this only worked when it was one teacher to one student, that is the only equation that make sense.
but school isn't the issue here, the theory of our expanding "stuff" box is on the table, and i believe an prominent virtue of my journey.... since i'll be going to texas too. oh yeah, and i want china to be on the table as well. i'm tired of the stuff everyone buys from there. if they have no need for it, neither do we.
there is no need for their suffering to save us money, there is no need for what we make them create for us. it is beyond a question of quality now, now its about filling ourselves with "stuff"

people always trying to take my paper
this is just a simple outdoor design for a local restaurant.
what exists back there now is some rats, dead grass, a smattering of grease and trash bigs.
not the impression everyone wants to give.

bones II
a second project that i put together for that same wood crafter.
still didn't get an after picture.
but i believe you can appreciate the bones even more in this one.
its a simple design and simple plan.
i think that this the second bones should begin to dictate a depth of
theory, not as much as the connection of bones, but more about the
strength, and vast beauty that we can't appreciate because its covered.
covered with stuff.
stuff.
bones.

its becoming painfully aware...
i've not yet developed my wood theory as much as steel.
it's a desk, simple in form, tho had it's own eccentricities.
no deck just yet. we were working with a excellent wood crafter on this project.
i should get an after picture from him.
stop showing off the bones that hold and present wood.
even tho it's the bones i'm interested in.
we'd all be blobs without bones.

in yoga, cool means sweet and fun
here's an oddball.
but when your closet is a closet
is there a better
answer?
i secretly love this unit, and i'm sure you're wondering about the "topple" element. well it's inserted in the closet that even if i hung on the front a very strong door header stops anything but negligible movement. this unit has maximized the space without piercing the wall once, the deck is 3/4" which makes it stout enough to stand on. and i did that, stood on the top, even jumped on it. steel and wood are like brother and sister that way. when you know what one is good at and then you make them compete against each other everyone wins.

the ugly monster under your stairs
its smelly.
sometimes slimy.
the growls makes you think
it's bigger and can eat you.
no wonder your parents
keep it locked away in
the basement.
monster.
creature.
this crude monster could hold up your house if you needed it tho.
this is a very lightweight shelving unit, shown undecked.
with a nice 3/4" sheet and some 2x4 joists this unit becomes indestructable.
keep that old wood stove on there that you've been meaning to refurbish.
store your spare 40 gallon water tank on there...full.
it doesn't matter. it goes together faster than ikea and will be around well after you've left your house.
made to custom size, and on a budget.
